There will also be Beetle, Tailless Whip Scorpion and Chilean Rose Tarantula demonstrations in the Discovery Zone throughout the holidays!

For visitors wanting to enjoy a range of hot drinks, milkshakes and snacks, the Koffee Kart is open for service in the front wildflower garden. The Kart is open at weekends, bank holidays and school holidays from 10am - 4pm - weather dependent.

Discover the Maya

Have ever wondered what the unique looking statues are dotted around the butterfly farm?

Our new interpretation board can be found in the Flight Area and gives you an explanation of what they are and an insight into the culture and beliefs of the ancient Maya, a complex civilisation that lived and farmed in the rainforests of Central America.
