The Monarch Migration Trail!

This half term follow the Monarch Butterfly on their migration journey from Canada to Mexico!

Each year, millions of Monarch Butterflys migrate up to 3,000 miles from Canada and the USA to the forests of central Mexico. This incredible long distance journey is one of nature’s greatest wonders, as the butterflies return to the same wintering sites generation after generation.

The education team have replicated their amazing journey in the outdoor gardens of the Butterfly Farm. Follow the Monarchs flight path and discover how many places they fly through until they reach their final destination in Mexico!

Download the chart, print it off at home and bring it with you on your visit to the Butterfly Farm.
