World Swallowtail Day

Swallowtails, birdwings and their allies are the most spectacular butterflies in the world, but also some of the most threatened. Join us on World Swallowtail Day and help save and protect them for future generations!
World Swallowtail Day

World Swallowtail Day will be celebrated at Stratford-upon-Avon Butterfly Farm on Saturday 8th & Sunday 9th June with interactive demonstrations, highlighting these stunning butterflies, and how we can all help to save and protect them for future generations to come.

The demonstrations will incorporate the amazing life-cycle of a swallowtail butterfly. Taking place at 11.30AM & 2.30PM in the Discovery Zone they will be led by members of our Education Team. We are delighted that special guest and swallowtail and birdwing expert Charles Dewhurst will be joining us on Saturday 8th June.
