Pollinator Garden

Full training is provided along with any necessary PPE such as gloves, tools, and uniform. A moderate level of physical fitness is required, although it is not expected for any candidate to participate in heavy work or intensive gardening.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Watering the gardens using a hose and sprinklers
  • Weeding pathways and flower beds
  • Light pruning using secateurs
  • Dead-heading flowers to encourage more blooms
  • Keeping pathways clean and tidy

The role is flexible and can be arranged around your schedule.

Each volunteer would be available for a minimum of one half day per week, with opportunities for further hours.

The role is weather dependent – we do not expect work to be conducted in the rain. It also involves working in the sunshine and lone work, this should be considered before applying.

The role is strictly outdoors and does not include working with animals or inside the glass houses.

All ages from 18 and above are welcome to apply.

To register an interest in the role please contact Coogan Middlebrook at: minibeasts@butterflyfarm.co.uk
