Stratford-upon-Avon Butterfly Farm is ready to reveal its new look!

Stratford-upon-Avon Butterfly Farm is delighted to be revealing its exciting new look since undergoing a £¼ million major refurbishment programme. The improvements include the installation of around 30 replica Maya sculptures and artefacts which originate from the ancient rainforest civilisation in Belize and beautiful interpretation displays. On Friday 22 July The High Commissioner of Belize, Perla Perdomo will be cutting the ribbon at a special opening ceremony of the newly refurbished Stratford Butterfly Farm. Also in attendance will be the Stratford-upon-Avon Mayor, Cllr. Juliet Short and internationally renowned Maya Archaeologist, Dr Diane Davies, who will also be signing copies of her latest book ‘Maya, A Journey Through The Maya World’ and bringing along her authentic Maya relics The celebrations will continue over the weekend of the 23 & 24 July with Mini-Beast Handling Sessions in the Discovery Zone and a competition to win season tickets, an interactive book on the ‘Maya’ and copies of the new visitor guide. There is something for everyone this Summer at the Butterfly Farm.
