Fall in love with nature at the Stratford Butterfly Farm with an array of beautiful butterflies, insects, giant millipedes and snails this spring half term. Set in a large greenhouse, landscaped with waterfalls, ponds and tropical plants, the Farm is the perfect setting to infuse romance and feel the joys of spring! Visitors to the Butterfly Farm can enjoy a special love theme this spring with interesting facts about insects and love. Learn all about 'Animal attraction' from an animal’s perspective, how to attract a mate and what to do when you have. Hear tips taken from a praying mantis and tarantula on how to be romantic!

The Stratford Butterfly Farm is also hosting its popular “Jungle Explorers” talks and handling sessions for children during the half term week from Saturday 19 – Sunday 27 February. Children of all ages can get up close and meet some of the insects which reside at the Farm, home to the largest live insect display in the world.

Many of the species on display are bred at the Farm. Exotic insects such as praying mantids, stick insects and giant millipedes can be seen in Insect City. Scorpions and spiders, including the world’s largest species, the Goliath Bird-eating Spider are on display in Arachnoland.

Ticket prices cost £6.25 for adults, £5.75 for seniors/students and £5.25 for children. A family ticket costs £18.50 for 2 adults and 2 children. The Stratford Butterfly Farm will be open from 10:00am – 5:00pm during half term.
