In 2010 Stratford Butterfly farm was awarded first place in the Tourist attraction category form Stratford in Bloom. Our stunning wildflower meadow of constantly changing colours really impressed our visitors and the judges of the local competition. Now you can have a stunning wildflower meadow in your own garden! To purchase our wildflower seed mix please email us at sales@butterflyfarm.co.uk. The seed comes in 60g packets which are £5.99 each plus P+P. From May to October the font garden of the Butterfly Farm is awash with a myriad of different coloured wild flowers (every week is different) and the top 10 nectar plants for your garden. Why not down load our gardening for butterflies leaflet and plan your butterfly garden for next year!
Creating a butterfly garden is an exiting and rewarding endeavour. It is easy to invite butterflies in to your area by gardening with their needs in mind. These beautiful insects will add bright colours and entertaining antics to your garden display.
During a couple of hours one sunny afternoon in August 2009 we spotted 9 different species of butterfly in our front garden at the butterfly farm. This one is a Peacock.
